Creative Concept Soundscape

A final submission for a school module T201 Creative Concepts. I created a 1-minute-long soundscape using Bandlab, incorporating effects from Pixabay and BandlabSounds. The piece blends themes of grief and environmental loss, inspired by the burning of offerings at a Chinese funeral. Bird sounds mid-piece represent nature, while the crying reflects both personal loss and our dying Earth.

The work was inspired by my late grandfather and observations of HDB residents closing windows when their neighbours were burning offerings in religious rituals. My lecturer found the combination of belief and environmental themes unique. Below are three original photos that inspired the piece.
